Greg,
You might want to look into creating a "logical path" in SAP to access this server. Just Google "SAP logical path" and you'll get all kinds of good stuff on how to do it.
Cheers,
Terry

Subject: Assigning a Network Path to a Letter (mapping like)

Greetings experts,

I have the following question:

In an abap report, the program reads files from d:/ad_upload_files/.
D:/ is a network mapping, and i know where it can be found. Let's say, it's \\server1 .

I now need to read files from another server, but i dont want to use the ip address, or the server name. I would like to use something similar to d:/ad_upload_files/ lets say f:/ad_upload_files/

How can i map the path \\server2\uploads\ to f: ?

Thanks in advance
