Gerd, inside AT END--- ENDAT, the workarea looses its value after AGENUM..

so in the loop before AT END OF AGENUM--- keep the wa_it_tab in some other variable(say L_WA_IT_TAB) of type wa_it_tab.. then append this variable (L_WA_IT_TAB) into at_tab. your problem ll be solved.

all the best

Subject: Problem with internal tables

my problem is that if I append the table of the work area of the one
internal table to the other internal table,
the table of the work area loses its values.

e.g.

loop at it_tab into wa_it_tab.

at end of agenum.
append wa_it_tab to at_tab.

endat.

the tables in wa_at_tab are empty.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Gerd
