Not necessary; if in config the settings "Define Batch Creation for Goods Movements"are set for the specific material movement to a choice which includes "automatic".

Hi,

You will have to activate the BAdI or user exit.

Cheers,

> Many of our materials are batch-managed. We've configured our goods movements to automatically extend materials to storage locations when posting goods movements for the first time. We're finding, however, that this fails on batch-managed materials, because the batch does not exist in the storage location. Is there a way to automate creation of the batch the first time a material is posted to a new storage location?
