You may use Material determination (VB11) or porduct selection fumction, to change the old code to the replacement code automatically whenever the old one is entered into a S/O

Has anyone successfully used the Discontinued Parts functionality in MM (MRP4 view of the Material Master) in Plant maintenance Workorders.
Our business would like to use this functionality to have the requirement from the discontinued part transferred to the follow-up material.
We have been testing this functionality and cannot get it to work.
Any help would be appreciated
