This often results from the planning strategy in use (such as 10 or 40). What is the need for having individual purchase requisitions?

Hi- I've configured my MMR's for MRP using the Individual / Collection Indicator (1=Individual) on the MRP4 view. I run MD01 or MD02 and the PREQ's that are generated are for quantities greater than 1. I need MRP to create individual PREQs for each requirement. Please tell me what I'm missing that is directing MRP to combine the requirements into one PREQ instead of creating individual PREQ's.
