First of all Thanks for your time and help. Currently we have SAP BI 7.3 and security concept based on characteristics level/hierarchy node level using analysis authorization. The problem is one characteristics keep updating and we are advised to check GENERATE Authoriozation. I am new to Generate authorization concept and require some cases where it can be utilized.
Could you kindly guide me to check feasibility or prerequisite required for GENERATION authorization? Need some scenario in which it can be useful in compared to characteristic value authorization. Thanks!
