Reply from Fredrik_Johannessen on May 13 at 7:25 AM Hi Cant you setup a "picking round" WM fixed bin that constantly fed by min max level in you pick location from you back stock location? Then you pickers always pick from you designated area , and you have a smaller 2nd team supporting them by replenishment In WM fixed bin you can set a value that if the pick is higher Go to Back stock direct instead of consuming all at the pick spot and then it triggers a chain reaction to be replenished. That not wanted. Do you have FIFO as strategy ? Regards Fred

Currently our system, SAP by Design, picks from the location with the largest quantity of stock. This makes back-stock locations useless. I need to be able to keep inventory in our pick location and a back stock location and manage the inventory in both locations but only pick from the pick location unless the pick location has a zero inventory level. Once the pick location is at zero it should direct the picker to the back-stock location. This would trigger us to move stock down to the pick location to pick from. Is this possible or will it only direct to the largest inventory spot only?
