Change cost centre, through t.code PPOME.
Upon executing this t.code, you will find org structure at left hand side and details of orgstructure at right hand side followed by tabs like Basic data, Account assignment.
Click on right org unit and at right side choose position whose cost centre is to be assigned / changed.
Now click on account assignment tab to change specify cost centre with date valid from / to
