Question from Batched-User on Jun 24 at 12:47 PM Facing Odd situation: SAP CI located in US running on Linux and needs to output invoices with Turkish letters to printer in Turkey. Company uses external output management system which cannot handle Turkish characters w/o a lot of mods. When output is sent directly to the printer using a variation of LOCAL, SAP sends the Turkish characters directly to the printer & all works well. Question: Company now wants to automate the invoice process via a Batch user running as a scheduled job to generate and output the invoices directly to the printer using the special LOCAL_TURKISH driver. When this idea was tested, no output was produced and no spool created. (Basis suspects the output dies due to lack of answer to dialog box as to which default printer to use) Also -- LP01 not running on Linux box Ideals on if / how this can be done? | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
