Another option is to finish off 2014 with the 2014 range. You will not have to delete the 2014 range, just the 2015 range. Set your status for 9999 based on just the numbers already assigned for 2015. Why change 2014 numbering at this point?

We have a complex situation. My client has by mistake created a wrong number range I.e. while creating number range against New year 2015 they mentioned last sequence of 2014 at current sequence of 2015. Instead of current sequence of 2014 they should have mentioned 0 at current sequence of 2015.
Is there any sap note or any other solution. We can still put 0 at current sequence of 2015 to make it correct but what those who have been posted around 150 docs.
Please advice.
