Dear HT

376050 - No storage locations for components to be provided

Reason and Prerequisites
The symptom described above results from a change to the system design and represents the intended system behavior.
This change to the system design only affects components to be provided of non-assigned subcontracting order proposals or components that are not managed in a sales order stock (sales order stock, project stock). The storage location and the supply area do not have a control function in the standard R/3 system for the corresponding components, since withdrawals of these components during the goods receipt for the corresponding order proposal are always made from subcontractor stock (see also Note 206159).

In order to manifest this system behavior and to avoid misinterpretation with regard to the availability check or working with storage location and subcontracting planning areas, the determined storage locations and supply areas have been deleted explicitly since Release 4.5A. However, it is still possible to maintain storage locations and supply areas manually.

If you do not require the deletion of storage locations and supply areas in the standard R/3 system, because, for example, customer-specific reports use this information, by making the attached modification you can activate again the determination of storage location and supply area for components to be provided of subcontracting order proposals.
