Please check the free space available in the Log file now through db12 or
SQL management studio immediately after the log back up. If the back up has
run successfully you can Try to reduce the LOG size through management
studio to the desired size. Size should be always greater than the free
space available in LOG file and minimum 10 % of the DB size.

Yes I have performed log back up through SQL management studio, but it didn't empty the log file container. I tried to shrink the log file, but no space is freed. Also, I have stop/start SAP but it didn't work.
Could you please tell me how to schedule regular log backup?
Please help.
