Wow, I don't see many people on the forum who use Time Events. We occasionally get this error and 99% of the time it's because the Scheduling data for the work center doesn't have a Capacity Category or the Capacity data for the work center is missing or incomplete. Use CR03 to check out the work center master data. Check the Scheduling tab first for a Capacity Category. If there isn't one, you've got a problem. If you do, then check the Capacities Tab for that Capacity Category. Click on the Capacity Header icon at the bottom of the tab and verify you are using the proper factory calendar, a Base Unit of Measure (usually H), and there are Start and Finish times. I'm not sure the Capacity Utilization and No. of individual capacities affect confirmations, but it wouldn't hurt to at least set them to 100% and 1 if they're not already defined.
Our I.E.'s maintain work centers and they often get the wrong calendar when they're new to the job.

Hello gurus,
I really need your help. Each time I try to perform a partial confirmation in CO19 I receive the following error message:
Error in actual time determination
Message no. RU440
System Response
With breakpoint-, partially completed and final confirmations the actual time is calculated for the confirmation interval thereby completed. Here an error has occurred.
Procedure
You should check whether one of the following points could have triggered the error:
No shift sequence was assigned to the work center.
No available capacity was defined for capacity entered in the work center for scheduling.
The factory calendar has not been maintained for the current calendar year.
The reporting time lies before 01.01.1970.
The work center entered does not exist.
I can start processing, but I can not do a partial confirmation. Please help!
