Reply from Diane S on Jan 9 at 8:29 AM The Answer is yes you do. . Manual ROP requires you to manually calculate what the ROP number should be, and manually update the MM in SAP to that quantity.
Automatic ROP does it automatically when you run the forecast. It calculates the ROP quantity based on past use, and automatically updates the MM with that quantity.
