Case description:
Since we are trying to implement standard SAP down payment functionality(based on condition types in pricing - AZWA, AZWB, AZDI) through SD,
among other actiond we have done, we tried to activate:
ENHANCEMENT-POINT FRM_KONDI_WERT_049_01 SPOTS ES_SAPLV61A
respectively
ENHANCEMENT VKON_SD_SFWS_SC1_FV64A049
As mentioned, beside other necessary activities we done (using program
VOFM and RV80HGEN to activate/generate necessary ABAP routines and
activating options "Rebuild Object List" and "Utilities->Update
navigation index") it seems that enhancement implementation is still
inactive that is system shows that enhancement is active but it is not
executed.
Analyzing Enhancement Implementation Properties for VKON_SD_SFWS_SC1
_FV64A049 system shows that Switch Position of the switch SD_SFWS_SC1 isset Off.
When consulting the SAP documentation we detected that switch can be seton by activating business function SD_01 (stcode SFW5). Since we have
SAP IS-Retail implemented on the same system our concern is whether we
could endanger existing functionality in SAP IS-Retail or standard SAP
SD functionality or beyond (other modules implemented: MM, FI, CO,
HCM).
The question is whether there is some way to find out detailed impact
list by activating business function SD_01 (irreversible). Exploring SAP documentation we have not found detailed list of possible impact of
activation of the business function SD_01 so at the moment we are facing certain dilemma regarding this issue. Namely, for purpose mentioned
above we would activate BF SD_01 on productive system but we are not
familiar with any potential risk which may be cause by this action in
within the meaning of current system functioning.
We are familiar with standard procedure of switching on business
function but to avoid this time and resource consuming action we would
appreciate any information from your side.
