Reply from mgitur on Sep 6 at 12:52 AM Hi Jeinsedai, Is your IO statistical? Then as Manette said, there will be no need (and if there's a need, it would be impossible) to settle the cost from IO to cost center, because the posting to the IO is statistical and the posting to the CC is true. If your IO was not defined as statistical (then it's a true controlling object), the posting to the cost center would be statistical and true to the IO; and in this case, settlement can be done. So, in this scenario, Is the posting to the CC duplicated? No, because the original posting (IO + Cost Center) is statistical at CC level and settlement is a true posting to CC. Please be aware of the difference between real and statistical posting in CO. For example, allocations can not be done from statistical postings! http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_06/helpdata/en/08/ 5142b643b511d182b30000e829fbfe/content.htm Best regards!

Given this setup, is there still a need for us to settle the IO to the cost centers? If we do so, will there be duplication of entries posted now in the cost centers? Thanks. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
