It should also tell you what kind of allocation it is.

You will not be able to delete the cost center if there are postings to it.
There could be actual postings as well as planned/budget postings. Therefore it might be better to lock the cost center on the Control tab in KS02.
Check transaction KEKE to see if Profitability Analysis is active - this transaction will also show you which Operating concern is assigned to your controlling area. You can then access KSUB & KSU5 to see if the cost center exists in those cycles. |
