This may happen if abs quota gen rules have been changed from a previous date, after time eval has been run. In such case, when the retro time eval occurs, the previously generated quota entl will get revised.
The TE retro happens in either of the following cases:
a) there is an infotype entry for a previous date and the infotype is set to affect PDC recalc when there is a retro entry
b) you manually run TE from a previous date
