That's what I've been doing is downloading SAP to a text file and then to an Excel file and uploading it to Access, but I wanted to see if there was a way to link it interactively. You said that SAP has add-ons that would allow for this? Where can I find these products and how would I use it for an entire company if need be?

It does not have direct access to any of the SAP database tables except when it is connected to the R/3 system. The database tables reside on the DB server which is normally on a totally separate, and secure system which you may or may not have direct access to.
