Hi,
This might work but will involve a lot of development and you won't get SAP support with that kind of stunt.. Investigate usage of SAP TDMS which might be able to do this work.

Scenario:
We are going to create a new SAP client. The data will come from an existing 'company' within a client.
Plan:
We will develop ABAP programs to export data from old client and import programs to put these data to new client. Client to client copy not doable since we don't need all the data but only company-specific data. There are 5 companies within a single client.
Question:
Is this method correct or is there a better way of doing it?
Any comment you will provide will be highly appreciated.
