Hi Connie,
Yeah you will need to go the alternate route which shouldn't require a PCR
from scratch. If you go to the IMG and under Payroll:USA and Tax and then
Tax Data Maintenance, there is a folder for Splitting Posting by Tax
Authority. It will require some new wage types and activating part of the
schema under UTX0 to be able to do the split, but it is pretty straight
forward. You will just need a wage type for each tax level and based on the
tax level, it will generate this new wage type and then you can post that
wage type to different accounts. The only thing to make sure is to turn off
the posting and if using 3rd party remittance of the /410 wage type so it
doesn't double post.

I saw another post referencing OSS note 919139. This note specifically says if you are using RPCIPE00_OLD and the old GL then you must NOT use the option (Posting US Tax).
I guess I will have to study up on rule writing.
