Hi,
most BASIS admin have no clue on functional configuration.
so, SAP Accounting group was the right place to ask this.
not in the BASIS group.

Subject: Error on customer master after changing address layout screen variant
Hi all Basis experts
When I change the screen variant for country-dependent address screens from 'Europe/Standard' to 'USA' I am unable to update existing customer master records. The following error occurs: "System error in routine 'ZAV_VERBUCHUNG.'
No error occurs when creating new master records.
Does anyone know of a way to resolve this error? I have also asked this question in the SAP Accounting Group, but since this configuration is part of address management I'm hoping a Basis administrator might have an answer for me.
