Hi Laurie,

It is not feasible to meet your finance department's requirement as there is not any concept of ''in-transit'' value in SAP. Once the stock is issued out from the issuing plant, then the issued quantity value will be debited to the stock account of the receiving plant.

My finance department is also asking me this question. Attila's description is clear but it also means that the inventory values are moved into the receiving plant when the product is not physically in that location yet. My finance department thinks that value should be "in transit" not at the receiving plant until it has actually been received. Does anyone else have this issue?
