Hello,

Though I think it won't go to settlement. If you know the customer will require storage then add an SD condition in the SO or I think the storage feel might just be a FI posting.

Further, would my assumption be correct that when the customer requires the stock you would just do a MBRL (122 K) and then close the Consignment PO?

Regards

Subject: Customer cosignment stock

Hi SAP Gurus,
I have a client requirement for stock conversion as below:
Customer wants to complete Post Goods Issue with normal process
using oubound delivery(MVT 601) and invoice it. In some cases,
ultimate cutomer may request for the Goods Issued material to be
stored in a warehouse for some time till they need it (May be
1-2 months). Customer is ready to pay storage charges if
required. But the question is how to create customer owned stock
after post goods issue (against outbound delivery)?
Appreciate in advance sharing your thoughts and experience.
Shridhar
