[sap-basis] Can't start SAP Instance from SAP logon fronend ?

SAP Gurus,

I can't start an sap instance. I just created a second instance on our server, and the process was successful. However, everytime I double click the instance shortcut that I created (which has the right information ie. application server , instance#, system ID, SAProuter string), an empty error message opens up. The message has nothing in it, except for an OK button.

The other instance that existed before I created this new one, runs fine. I created the second instance, and made it use the same DB as the first instance, it has a directory in the USR/SAP folder, and it looks like it's setup correctly.

Please help, and THANK YOU for your reply.
