Hi,

The fact is that there are many settings in plant parameters which are relevant for material and that there are many materials which are extended / maintained in this Plant are subject to MRP run. Therefore, it is mandatory that the plant parameters shall be defined in MRP regardless of the way the material items are set in the material master. In practice, many companies chose to create a new plant by copying (using "Copy All" option) from the well-configured plant and therefore, it is not mandatory to make any further plant parameters setting.
