Re: deletion of pay results in prod, you need to take care.

Our SAP versio is ECC6.04. The txn PU01 uses pgm RPCDPU01 however you can not execute this pgm.
However I have used RPUDEL20 in prod when it is necessary in prod with authorisation from Payroll dep.

As a standard practice, IT or SAP support people do not update or delete prod data unless authorised. Even batch jobs set up by the dev team should have user as a prod user id like BATCH**. The default is the user id that set up the job in SM37.
