By use of Resource Related Billing, you can bill by the hour and you will see the labor cost by activity price.
Typically RRB is usable in Customer Service module where you install some kind of instruments and dispatch technician to customer's place to provide maintenance service etc. CS module uses service order as CO order.
If you are in some kind of consulting business or IT solution business where you provide service by the group of people, then PS module would be more like it. WBS element would serve as CO order in that case.
Either way, you will need Dynamic Item Processor ODP1 setting for RRB (DP80, DP90), cost element group for DIP, work center (CR02) - cost center - activity type setting & activity price to send labor cost, and service materials (material type DIEN - accounting views irrelevant) etc.
Sales price of course comes from condition record in the SD pricing procedure. DIP profile is set as defaut in the item category.
You will need all those cross module capabilities.
