Hey Hapey,
You dont need to use any separate account group or anything.
Just create a vendor through XK01. While creating the info record for the Vendor Material, you have to select the Info record category as 'Subcontracting' instead of 'Standard'. You tie it all up through the Info record.
As for the APO, you dont need to do anything specfic. Your APO consultant will be able to pull the data easily.

HI ,
There is no separte vendor group for Subcontract vendor. Will do only in the info record.

Hi,
I'm setting up a subcontracting scenario and don't know how to create the vendor:
Transaktion XK01, MK01 ?
And then which account group? I don't see anything specifically for subcontraction.
Then I don't know how to create the necessary location and associate this with the vendor.
Do I need an extra plant for the vendor?
How do I tie it all together: vendor, plant, location, and then in APO the sublocation and transfer lane etc.etc.
Would greatly appreciate any help.
