Hi prospa,
I just remembered something I came across when installing CRM 7.0 a few
months ago.
For these new versions of SAP, it's not possible to install the JAVA stack
as an add-in to the ABAP stack, so what I think you must do, is to install
"SAP Appplication Server ABAP" first, then run SAPinst one more time to
install "SAP Appplication Server Java".
The ABAP stack and JAVA stack cannot have the same SID anymore. They have to
be installed as 2 separate instances.
Regards,
LEH

Hi Lars,
the option in SAPINST are:
SAP CRM 7.0 Support Release 1
SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4 Ready Support Release 1
SAP SCM 7.0 Support Release 1
SAP SRM 7.0 Support Release 1
SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 including EHP1 Support Release 1
As I need a BI system, I choose SAP NW70 EH1 SR1. Under this step, we have
* SAP Process Integration
* SAP Mobile Infrastructure
* SAP Appplication Server ABAP
* SAP Appplication Server Java
* Standalone Engine
* Option Standalone Units
* Software Life-Cycle Options
Under SAP Application Server ABAP, I have DB and Central system
=> not for me, I need J2EE
Under SAP Application Server JAVA, I have SCS instance, DB and Central
system.
=> I think I can use this selection
What do you think ?
