Hi Bindumadhav
In PA20/PA30, display the relevant employee's abs quota record. In the abs quota type field, press PF4 (or look for possible entries). It will show you the ESGG, PSGG/Quota types that are allowed for the employee.
Note that the abs type and quota types may apply to many other groupings.
Check the configuration for the deduction rule for the abs.type as below for all the relevant groupings :-
a)Absences (in SM30 maintain T554S) - Note down the Abs Counting rule used.
b)Navigate to IMG->Time mgt->Time recording->Absences-...>
Define counting rules->
- Counting rules (or in SM30 maintain T556C) - For each ESGG/PSGG that can have this abs type, there would be one row with the same Abs Counting rule. Select all entries with the Abs Counting rule from T554S. Check the Deduction rule used.
- Deduction rules for abs quotas (or V_556R_B in SM30)): Select all entries with the dedn rule from T556C. Check the abs quota types used. Here check/enter the quota types in the same sequence as they are to be deducted when the abs type is entered for a person. Select/check the dedn priority at the bottom.
I have not required to use any ABAP code for this so far.
Hope this helps.
Regards, JG

Subject: Absence Quota report
> Dear Consultants,
I have configured maternity leave quota (10 Days), Privilege Leave quota (10 Days) & Without pay leave quota (365 days) to be deducted one after the other. If a lady applies for 25 days of ML, 10 MLQ, 10 PLQ & 5 WPLQ are deducted. When I run PT91, system gives all 25 days as ML as the leave applied for is ML. I wish to have the report to show that first 10 days have been deducted from MLQ, next 10 from PLQ & remaining 5 from WPLQ. Other reports show the total quota & consumed quota but I wish to have daywise consumption. Let the system say that on a specific day, employee applied for ML but his PLQ or WPLQ was deducted.
I was suggested to use Tcode - PT_QABS or adhocquery.
PT_QABS gives list of all kind of absences but does not differentiate the quota which is actually being deducted.
I am not aware about adhoc query. Reading from Help.sap.com now..
May I know how to achieve this report?
Regards
Bindumadhav
