Have you upgraded or loaded any HRSP? Have you implemented ESS in Portal 7.0? Have you turn on CE?
If yes you may now need to run RPUFIXDS to get the grouping on all employees missing the grouping data.
We discovered when doing our ECC 6 upgrade and ESS portal 7.0 upgrade that we had to have the grouping filled in on many of our infotypes which did not have the data before and which did not cause us error previously.
