Hi,
I understand standard SAP plant determination (CMIR, customer, material) and aware of USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION for custom plant selection. Has anyone experiences implementing plant selection based on inventory in the multiple plants?
Requirement: Batches for same material can exist in multile plant storage locs. During order line item creation, select the plant based expiration dating of batches in at first-expire, first-out (FEFO) order. Of course the order qty must be avialable based on ATP qty of the batches in each pant.
It appears USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION executes early in the process before internal tables are totalled poplulated (XVBAP, etc) and timing of USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP may not be correct. (Need to make sure all downstream events (route determination, shipping point, other customer user exists).
Anyway, of course I need to prototype, but wondering up front if anyone can share insights so I can return an accurate estimate to the customer asking for this.
Regards, Scott
