[sap-log-mm] How to attach an external file to a PO line item

Dear All,
In the PO line item, there is an attach icon from where i can attach any file from my computer to the PO line item. Can anyone explain the procedure how to do that. when i click the attach icon, it brings another window but i couldn't link the file on my desktop with the PO.
