Hi,
Whenever you modify any report in sap that is integrated to a legacy system like Oracle etc and you have a data structure in place, the best option is to add the new fields( columns) to the end of the report. Your sap report view options should be flexible enough for you to move any column at any position to view the data the way you like by using ALV.
