Reply from MG123 on Jan 23 at 11:09 AM Hi Connie, The first issue is that every reversal must have a retro run over it. If it was truly a void than it should not have an effect. There is also an incomplete void which would occur if you posted the GL, but didn't post the 3rd party and then reversed the entry. Not sure which of these scenarios you are encountering as you say you voided/reversed a check. They are two very different things even though they are both accomplished by pressing the reversal button in the OC workbench. Concerning the IT0221 not creating a /7xx. This will not happen when you are using negative wage types. The /5PY (good money) is basically the gate keeper to BSI. If /5PY is negative, the record will never be transferred to BSI and no taxable wages will be calculated. The /Ixx are created because there is no /7xx to offset them against. The first thing I would check is if it was truly a reversal, and if a retro was performed over the reversal or not. If no, I would delete or reenter the IT0221 in the opposite direction to cancel it out, then run a retro over the original reversal. If it was already retro'd, I would leave the IT0221 alone, figure out what the W2 should look like and enter /7xx, /6xx and /3xx directly. Not the optimal solution, but it should work. You should never enter the /7xx alone because other reports may run off the /6xx and /3xx. I hope this helps. MG
