Also there can be some recent changes in any of the Output in the invoices due to which the background job runs for a longer period of time than the usual foreground transactional process. Hence check if there are any recent changes in the billing output print program or any EDI related invoices output, etc.

Subject: Document Locking When Vf04 Is Processed In Background
Hello everyone,
I would like to ask if any of you encountered the same problem. I a background job has been created for Vf04. For the 1st few months, starting January 2014, it worked smoothly. But then come August, error log in v.21 says the documents are being processed. So I assumed that the documents are just locked, but during sept onwards, still the same documents are locked when processed in vf04 thru background. But no locking occurs when processed foreground. I am wondering if there could be something wrong with these documents since they are the only ones locked for the past 4 months. I even checked SM12 for locked items, and they're not. And also, it allows foreground so I think the documents are not really in the lock table.
I need your inputs guys. Thanks in advance. |
