DATA y TYPE REF TO OBJECT
ASSIGN x TO <fs>
ASSIGN y TO <fs>

I want to add a declaration of <fs> to the Code.

FIELD-SYMBOLS : <FIELD_SYMBOL> TYPE REF TO DATA . "here DATA is a reference
type

FIELD-SYMBOLS <fs> TYPE REF TO ANY // this declaration is not correct.

Can anyone please tell me what is the problem with the (TYPE REF TO ANY) syntax?
