Reply from TerryB on Aug 15 at 11:09 AM Well, in our particular case it's "Install At" party, not "Sold To" party, but nonetheless, the name field in the "Contact person" area of the selection screen is NOT greyed-out. I can enter a search string and press Enter, and it brings up the customer search help as described above.

Make Sold-to Name1 field in IW51 Create Notification available for data entry.
When opening a new notification in IW51 there is no easy way to find the Sold-to party
number quickly. The Contact person address tab allows the user to enter a name directly into the name field and the STP number automatically populates or presents a list to choose from. Currently, the fields in the Cust. address tab are greyed out so it's not possible to use this method here. |
