There are certainly products on the market that can do what you're looking to do, but in the absence of LSMW or straight ABAP, there are no facilities to do general uploads to the general ledger. SAP does have the ability to be configured to upload information for budget/plan data, but not to the G/L. I'm also not sure how well LSMW does with the concept of header/line item types of input.

Subject: Post a Journal Entry in SAP By Importing CSV or Excel file

Hi Experts,
Is it possible to import flat file (CSV) or excel file in SAP to create Journal entry without using expensive and fancy software?
I'll start receiving payroll file bi weekly and one accrual file monthly from my payroll provider in CSV or in excel format and I would like to upload that file into SAP to create my entries. Please note that we don't have SAP business one available in our company. Your replies will be much appreciated.

Thank You
Sunny
