As a general rule in BAPIs, you need to populate the X-flag corresponding to all fields in which you want data to be loaded.

I am trying to update field WMAAB of table MAW1 using the BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT. After executing the BAPI, I am using BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT on success. The BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT is returning success message saying 'Artclie XXX is updated'. But when I am checking the field in the table, the value is not getting changed.
Can anyone help on this
