Reply from LCC352 on Jul 31 at 4:30 PM It sounds like someone coded the 999999 as a "catch all". Check to see that the MIRO transaction that occurred that assigned this profit center actually went through properly. Chances are, this is a profit center assigned to the transaction because it didn't fall into a regular profit center. For us, we coded a profit center of "K", the company code, and "XXX" to fill out the 7 character mask we chose. So if there was a problem in a company, it would show up in profit center "K1234XXX". That didn't fit any of our normal profit centers so it pointed out an error right away. - Lou

Hi, Is it possible to block profit center 999999 in the system? This PC was automatic entry with GL upon payment of MIRO. How can we set the correct PC if the entry is automatic? There are times that the recognition of forex entry should be charged to a certain business unit/ dept in the company. Need advice guys. Thanks, Nely | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community. Start today. _.____.__ |
