Also, you do not have a binary search on the read (g_sortier_urs) inside the loop. Are you expecting to have duplicates (FENUM)? My first guess is you do not want duplicates based on the APPEND and MODIFY. And, it isn't sorted after the append statement. So, you may not get what you want. Have you looked at using a hashed internal table for G_SORTIER_URS? Cheers John
