In my opinion, you've gotten three LOUSY answers.
To correct the data in one of the standard SAP tables, you need to find out how that data got there in the first place - what transaction created the data. Then, you need to find the correct transaction for changing that data. In this case, if there is a transaction that can create order confirmations, there should also be a transaction to modify them.
If you have a lot of records to change, there might be a business object that is related to that table (BUS2016? BUS2028?), and you might be able to use transaction MASS to do mass changes.
The bottom line is, you should NEVER try to solve a problem by going directly to the table and modifying the data there - you could literally render your entire system unusable at worst, or create a relational mess that SAP won't support for free at best.
