We currently work with product for sales and distribution.
There is another part of the organization that may utilize our system. Their needs would be to capture the product details and inventory/warehouse information. The product would be stored in the warehouse and a request can be made where the product can be "checked out", meaning to transport the product from a storage location to a viewing location, still within the facility. The product would not be distributed or sold. Kind of like a museum archive, having storage of items, and someone that is interested in viewing certain files can request to check them out of storage within a specialty room set up for this viewing, for a particular length of time.
Does anyone have some ideas as to how to handle such a scenario?
