[sap-hr] Employee termination workflow or similar process!

Hello,
We have a requirement to allow employee termination to occur only by the approval by HR VP or HR Director. So the idea is that HR administrators from global locations can initiate the termination process by using Personnel Action for Termination. But it can only be made effective by the approval of VP or Director (and yeah, we are looking for SAP to send either email notification or workflow to VP and Direcor if an administrator initiates the termination process). Is it possible. Please respond if you have had any experience on resolving this kind of requirement.
