Hello Dipty,
 
Try to reorg the tables that store change pointers using the report RBDCPCLR. It is very useful and recommended. Also check the sap notes 439438 and 851895.
 
Pay attention when you run this report because it generates a lof of redologs. During this execution you have to start a backup of redologs.

Hi All,
I am trying to CIF the Purchase Info Records (PIR) from R/3 to SCM. I have created the integration model (ie CFM1), then i tried to activate the integration model, it took a while to execute, later gave an ABAP dump which states-
ABAP Runtime Error - "Time_out", " SAPLBD01" and "Change_Pointers_Read".
We have set up the time as 1500 sec. What could be the reason for this short dump?
I have activated the Change Pointer in tcode BD61 and i have also activated required message type (INFREC,CIFMAT,CIFVEN etc) pointers in BD50.
Please let me know if anybody is aware of this kind of Short Dump.
