Reply from phanibr on Feb 13 at 10:52 AM Thanks Iwan. I understand that the variance is only for FG with S. But my client did not want to use S on FG and wanted to go with V.
But my issue is system is expecting to determine variances before I run settlement. So when I run variance I get this error "Only Remaining var. - ver 0."
I know it is not good practice to use V on FG for inhouse production. But I lost that battle.
Please let me know if there is a solution other than changing this message to warning.

Hello,
When calculating the variance on production order for finished good I am running into an error "Only remaining variance exists in Ver.0"
Since this is FG on MAP there is no standard cost estimate for this product.
So looking to seek advice if this is a valid error and how to get rid of this for FG on MAP.
Please advise.
