Question from Andy Murzyn on Feb 13 at 11:15 AM
Hello,
I am trying to configure SSL for my SAP employee portal JAVA server. I've found a How to Guide - How to Configure SSL in JAVA systems, dated 12-9-2013. My server is running NW 7.31.
I have tried this two different ways, with the same results. I've created new ssl-credential entries for the ICM_SSL_<XXXXX> entry. I've generated the Certificate Request, submitted it to ENTRUST, and received a response.
I've imported the response, along with the intermediate and root certificates. I've also imported the root certificate as a TrustedCa.
I've stopped and started the SSL service as well. I've even gone as far to shut down and restart the instance.
Testing the connection results in the localhost certificate being presented as opposed to the certificate I just loaded.

I've also tried doing this by adding a new access point, same result.

HTTPS works, with the assigned port, 50001, and if I enter this directly on the Java Server: https://localhost:50001/irj/portal the portal opens with a lock icon.

Any suggestions on how to correctly configure this, and have the connection use the correct certificate, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much,

Andy Murzyn
