Reply from Ron Roberts on Sep 29 at 9:29 AM Hi Pankaj, If your group currency (USD) is your functional currency, then the values posted at the time of accounting document creation should not change. Therefore, a period-end valuation from LOCAL (NGN) currency to GROUP currency should not be done except for those balance sheet accounts that are subject to currency exchange risk. An example would be an accounts receivable account where the billings are in NGN and the collection is in NGN. Or a bank account that is NGN denominated. These types of balance sheet accounts will result in REALIZED functional currency (USD) gains and losses. Ron
